Reliable Cutting with Two Cutting Heads
Fastpap's dry-end tail cutters, TwinCut and SingleCut, are designed for high-pressure water or knife cutting. First-class reliability and highly repeatable accuracy help achieve more production time. Tail threading is a critical operation whose success depends largely on the flawless performance of the cutter.
TwinCut cuts the tail at the web edge with two cutting heads and, after threading, carries it to the center of the machine before finally widening it out toward the edges.
Tail widths for TwinCut are programmable and easily adjusted to each customer's needs. Cutting takes place either in open draw or against a roll. Cutting head movement is smooth, with excellent positioning repeatability.
The compact design of the tail cutters allows for easy installation even in confined spaces. The cutting heads can be slid outside the hood, allowing maintenance to be carried out during production.
