In most problem situations, thermography measurements help with problem detection by narrowing down the number of possible sources. In general, these measurements can be said to help improve paper quality; uneven moisture profiles are often the main cause of lower machine speed, reduced production and lower efficiency. Leaks causing energy loss inside the hood can also be visualized.
Thermographic measurement makes it possible to precisely detect process disruptions without intervening in the production process. Energy efficiency analyses and necessary maintenance work can also be planned in light of this data.
