Fastpap's dry-end tail cutters, TwinCut and SingleCut, are designed for high-pressure water or knife cutting. First-class reliability and highly repeatable accuracy help achieve more production time. Tail threading is a critical operation whose success depends largely on the flawless performance of the cutter.
Tail widths for SingleCut are programmable and easily adjusted to each customer's needs. Cutting takes place either in open draw or against a roll. Cutting head movement is smooth, with excellent positioning repeatability. The speed of the cutting head is widely adjustable, with programmable acceleration and deceleration.
