In addition to pipe testing, the MTT is also used to assess the adhesion of other coatings. The instrument is used independently of a laboratory, for example in production, on offshore platforms, at wind farms, or for testing road marking paints. The MTT consists of a control unit and a peeling unit. The measurement sequence can be controlled independently (start/stop). Once the measurement has finished, data evaluation is supported by software. Results can be printed out on a thermal printer, and measurement data can also be exported to a USB drive. The software continuously displays the measured values (force/time) as a graph. At the end of the measurement, min, max and average values are calculated over freely selectable segments. The peeling unit has an electronic force measuring device with separate drives for feed and peeling. The 90° pulling angle is automatically readjusted.
- Peeling force up to 2500 N
- Durable construction for mobile use
- Suited to small and large pipe diameters
- Peeling travel up to 300 mm
- The 90° peeling angle is automatically readjusted
- Thermal printer output and USB data transfer
