Penetrometers for pipes are manually operated test instruments. Temperature control and measurement are carried out via digital control units; on request, control, measurement data logging and test evaluation can be handled with optional software. Coesfeld offers two separate models with two different operating principles: the standard (liquid bath) type comes with an integrated cooling water connection for measurement at room temperature and can be configured with up to 3 or 6 stations; the RP 3 Air is a fixed 3-station heating chamber that uses air as the heating medium, can reach much higher temperatures (up to 300 °C), and can be adapted to different standards with simple mechanical modifications.
- All components in contact with liquid are made of stainless steel or corrosion-resistant materials
- Precise temperature control and measurement via digital control units
- Data logging and evaluation with optional PC/software integration
- On the RP 3 Air, needle penetration is measured with built-in digital displacement gauges
- RP 3 Air test stations can be adapted to different standards with simple mechanical modification
