Granulator (Pelletizing Machine)
Used to process extrudate strands into pellets; feed roller and cutting blade speeds are set independently of each other. Pellet length is adjustable between 0.5–15 mm during processing.
Hot Cutter
Converts extrudate directly into pellets using one or more blades in direct contact with the hot die surface; both wet and melt extrudates can be processed.
Spheronizer
Used to reduce the length of fine extrudate strands and round them off; friction plate surface texture, batch size and speed determine the final geometry.
Conveyor Belt
For the gentle removal and cooling of extrudate; an optional integrated cooling tank allows the transport of hot extrudates up to 300 °C.
Cooling Conveyor Belt
A belt based on actively cooled elements, for the gentle transport and efficient cooling of extrudate and pellets; additional air cooling can be provided via air connections on the cover.
Cooling Bath
For the efficient cooling of extrudate before further processing on a rewinder or pelletizer; equipped with holding rods/rollers and a scraper brush.
Film Roller
Calibrates flat, dry extrudates; round extrudates can also be formed into a film of defined thickness and wound onto a spool. Includes an adjustable, temperature-controlled roller pair and a tension roller.
Rewinder
Used to wind extruded material onto a spool; even winding is achieved by adjusting the tensile force between the outfeed roller and the spool. Suited to round filament and strip extrudates.
