Film Roller — General View
Three-Tec's film roller calibrates flat, dry extrudates. Round extrudates can also be formed into a film of defined thickness. The product is then wound evenly onto a spool. The film roller consists of an adjustable, temperature-controlled roller pair, an adjustable tension roller pair, and a rewinder or spool. The tensile force of the pull rollers and the rewinding spool is adjustable via a magnetic coupling. The film roller is controlled by an integrated frequency converter; the instrument can optionally be integrated into a higher-level system via an interface.
