The Coesfeld Intrinsic Strength Analyzer (ISA) automatically evaluates the minimum tearing energy T0 that initiates and drives crack growth. Measuring the endurance limit with classic methods can take months; the ISA, based on the Endurica test and evaluation method, delivers results in under 8 hours.
The measurement runs fully automatically. As a by-product at the end of the measurement, the critical tearing energy Tc can also be estimated. The ISA is entirely computer-controlled, connecting to a PC via a TCP/IP interface.
- Standardized, straightforward measurement procedure
- Rapid estimation of Intrinsic Strength T0
- Tc (critical tearing energy) measured as a by-product
- Fully compliant with the Endurica Test Protocol
- Millinewton-precision force measurement (0.04% FN accuracy)

Application
Automatic, fast (<8 hour) measurement of the crack-initiating force (T0) per the Endurica test method. Used for fatigue-life prediction of elastomer and rubber components, material development and quality control.
