The ICCA is the first instrumented analyser to assess chip, cut & chunk resistance in rubber. A round rubber specimen is rotated at a user-defined speed while a pneumatically driven impactor strikes it. Force, stroke, duration and repeat cycle can all be defined by the user through the software interface.
All data on speed, force and travel distance is collected and can be exported as raw data. Quantitative assessment of chip and cut resistance is delivered as a direct measurement result through the innovative 'P' parameter — allowing correlation between laboratory testing and field performance.
