ED 40 — Gravimetric Configuration
Single-screw feeders enable precise volumetric and gravimetric feeding of free-flowing powders and granules. A scale and weighing electronics can be added to any standard feeder, allowing it to run as a gravimetric 'loss-in-weight' or batch system. Versions with and without a bridge breaker are available.

Gravimetric or Volumetric?
The ED series works on the same principle as the ZD series: the standard housing is volumetric, and becomes gravimetric once a weighing unit is added.

The 'Q-line' (Quick Clean) versions have no bridge breaker and feed free-flowing granules up to 15 mm particle size; designed for fast disassembly and cleaning.
