SIM 7300-TH — Professional Ozone Test Chamber

A professional test chamber with ortho-directional gas flow and a heavy stainless steel body.

A professional ozone test chamber with ortho-directional gas flow and a heavy stainless steel body that supports the setup and use of all types of static/dynamic test equipment. It has the largest observation window for observing crack formation, with magnifying optics or a camera, without stopping the test process. Operation is exclusively via the touch panel. Each rubber specimen can be advanced step by step into the optical observation zone. Mounting rails allow grid plates and rod carriers to be fitted for laying down or hanging any type of rubber test piece, such as flat film, tubing, cable, bushings and seals.

  • Ortho-directional gas flow and heavy stainless steel body
  • The largest observation window for crack surveillance without stopping the test
  • Samples advanced step by step into the optical observation zone
  • Electrically interlocked front door — cannot be opened until the chamber is completely ozone-free
  • Optional WOEHLER crack camera and fatigue testing software

Application Areas

Rubber ageing tests according to ASTM D 1149 and DIN ISO 1431; Wöhler fatigue strength determination; fatigue strength determination for a defined 10-year period (or similar); cable testing according to IEC 60811-2-1 (methods A and B) and VDE 0472, A/B/C with EN50396; static and dynamic testing; continuous and/or intermittent tests. Suited to crack testing, generating Wöhler diagrams, and long-life fatigue strength testing.
