LabPro Series — General View
While the most powerful LabPro model can exceed 5,000 kN of clamping force, pressing jobs requiring much lower clamping force (10 kN or below) can be carried out with the same accuracy and consistency. The LabPro series is largely automatic and equipped with a user-friendly touchscreen control interface.
An integrated preset builder lets laboratory technicians create and store up to 999 pressing recipes. CE-certified, the LabPro series includes numerous safety features such as a fixed top plate, emergency stop system and safety guard. A wide range of options is available, including a unique and effective vacuum system that enables temperatures up to 700 °C under vacuum conditions.

LabPro has no fixed models; every press is configured for your application, from clamping force to plate size, temperature range, cooling system and daylight height. The ranges below define the possible limits.

| Active cooling system | Automatic water cooling via electric valves; also cools the press body, keeping the surrounding housing close to ambient temperature. ASTM D4703-compliant on request (15 °C/min ramp). |
| Vacuum system | A vacuum pump integrated into the support table creates 30–40 mbar in the press chamber even at temperatures up to 700 °C; supports inert gases such as nitrogen/argon. A tempered glass window, lighting, electrical feedthroughs or multiple daylight can be integrated on request. |
| Heating capacity to 700 °C | Extends the standard 300 °C capacity, for materials requiring ultra-high process temperatures such as advanced ceramics, high-performance thermoplastics and specialty composites. |

| Cassette cooling system | Two water-cooled plates move horizontally, either manually or motorized, and can also move vertically for cooling under pressure. Delivers cooling up to 250 °C/minute — the plates stay continuously heated while the cassette is continuously cooled, reducing energy consumption. |
| Floating top plate | A secondary pneumatic system lets the top plate close under its own weight, enabling ultra-low-force pressing (0–10 kN); the press automatically switches to the standard hydraulic system when higher force is required. |
