Critically acclaimed, the LabEcon series is known for accurate, consistent pressing quality, making it the preferred sample-preparation press for quality control and R&D in the polymer, rubber and composite industries.
Available in four clamping-force options (100, 300, 600, 1000 kN), the press operates up to 300°C. A small footprint means easy installation in any laboratory, while the ergonomic design and clean 15" ProView touchscreen interface are well received by laboratory technicians.
- Four models: LabEcon 100 / 300 / 600 / 1000 — the same consistent pressing quality
- Automatic press cycle — opens and closes within a pre-set interval with no operator intervention
- ProView — 15" touchscreen; full oversight of temperature, clamping force and progress
- Fixed top plate, emergency stop system and full protective safety guard
- Integrated exhaust hood (Jacob ø200 mm) — can connect to an existing ventilation system
- Expandable design: rapid heating, active cooling, multiple daylight, transfer roller bed, alternative plates

Control System
LabEcon presses are delivered with the 15" touchscreen ProView control system. ProView provides full oversight of temperature and clamping force, real-time progress tracking, and a frequency controller that regulates press speed during the final closing stage.

Options
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Heating capacity to 400 °C | Extends the standard 300 °C heating capacity, allowing a wider range of specimen materials to be processed. |
| Rapid heating system | Raises the heating rate to 20 °C/minute — reaching 180 °C in 8 minutes instead of 16, and 400 °C in 19 minutes instead of 38. |
| Active cooling system | Automatic water cooling via electric valves; ASTM D4703-compliant on request (15 °C/min cooling ramp). |
| Multiple daylight | Additional openings between plates process more specimens in the same cycle; each opening can have its own heating/cooling setting. |
| Alternative plates | Steel, aluminium or copper plate options for a material-specific temperature distribution profile. |
| Transfer roller bed | Roller units that make it easy to load and remove heavy moulds, reducing operator fatigue. |
| Light & sound signal | A signal light with audible alarm indicating press-cycle status. |
| Extended warranty & maintenance | The standard warranty period can be extended; preventive maintenance and calibration service is offered. |
| Custom configuration | For special requirements not listed above, the press can be customized in every respect. |
