Manual Notch Cutter

Hand-operated, benchtop notching machine (20-103-000). Easy, ergonomic single-handed operation on filled and unfilled plastic specimens; a simple design needing no extra adjustment makes it an economical solution for routine laboratory use.

This benchtop machine offers single-handed manual operation. The forming blade needs no extra adjustment — cutter advance and planing motion are driven simultaneously by the handwheel on the side, making operation practical and ergonomic.

Various specimen magazines are available depending on the standard. The removable magazine allows several specimens to be notched at once, and extra magazines can be pre-loaded without any additional tools or fixtures. The durable notch cutter has three cutting edges and can be swapped quickly. Feed stops automatically once the standard-specified remaining width is reached, and the specimens can be removed.
