Brabender Aquatrac-V moisture analyzer
Why Is Calibration Required?
Aquatrac instruments measure moisture in a sample coulometrically, from the amount of H₂ gas released when the moisture reacts with calcium hydride (CaH₂). To maintain the accuracy of this precise measurement chain, the instrument must be periodically verified — and adjusted if necessary — against certified reference standards with known water content.
Scope of Calibration
- Verification against certified reference standards with known water content
- Adjustment if necessary
- Issuance of a traceable calibration report
