Privacy Notice on the Protection and Processing of Personal Data
Dear Customer, as Mare Endüstriyel Cihazlar San. Tic. Ltd. Şti., we respect and value the confidentiality of your private life. For this reason, we would like to inform you about your rights regarding the use and protection of your personal data under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (hereinafter “KVKK”).
a) Data Controller
Mare Endüstriyel Cihazlar Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi (hereinafter the “Company”) hereby informs you that it processes your personal data as the data controller, within the scope of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data and other relevant legislation.
b) Purposes and Legal Grounds for Processing Personal Data
The personal data collected will be processed for the following purposes:
- Carrying out the work required by our business units to provide you with the products and services offered, and conducting the related business processes
- Planning and executing the sales processes of products and services
- Planning and executing customer relationship management processes
- Carrying out activities aimed at customer satisfaction
- Following up contractual processes and legal claims
- Providing after-sales support services
- Collecting and evaluating complaints and suggestions to improve our service quality, and carrying out the related communication activities
- Conducting activities in compliance with legislation
- Conducting finance and accounting processes
- Conducting logistics activities
- Conducting emergency management processes
- Conducting information security processes
- Providing information to authorized persons, institutions and organizations
Your data will be processed on the legal grounds set out in Article 5(2) of KVKK: “(a) it is expressly provided for by law”, “(c) processing of personal data of the parties to a contract is necessary, provided that it is directly related to the establishment or performance of the contract”, “(ç) it is mandatory for the data controller to fulfil its legal obligation”, “(d) the data has been made public by the data subject”, “(e) data processing is mandatory for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right”, and “(f) data processing is mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject”.
Your personal data in the categories of identity, contact, professional experience, marketing and location will be processed on the basis of your explicit consent for the following purposes: measuring customer satisfaction; planning and executing the marketing processes of products and services; conducting profiling and analysis activities; recommending and promoting the products and services offered to you, tailored to your preferences, usage habits and needs; sending commercial electronic messages such as advertisements and promotions to the contact details you have shared within the scope of your consent; and sharing such data with our suppliers and international business partners for the purpose of sending these messages.
Your data in the categories of identity, professional experience and contact will be shared with our international business partners, based on your explicit consent, for the following purposes: conducting and supervising business activities within the scope of the performance of the distributorship agreement; carrying out activities aimed at customer satisfaction; conducting contractual processes; and providing after-sales support services.
c) Method of Collecting Personal Data
Your personal data will be obtained, verbally, in writing or in electronic media, by automated or non-automated means, either directly from you or through our business partners, in order to fulfil the purposes stated in paragraph (b) of this notice and on the basis of the legal grounds set out in Articles 5(2) and 6 of KVKK.
d) To Whom and for What Purpose Processed Personal Data May Be Transferred
Your personal data will be transferred, without seeking your explicit consent, pursuant to Article 8(2)(a) of KVKK, for the purposes stated below:
- To notaries, enforcement offices and/or courts, where necessary, for the purpose of conducting finance and/or accounting affairs within the scope of collecting fees for products and services
- To the relevant public institutions and organizations and competent authorities, where necessary or requested, in order to fulfil legal obligations under the relevant legislation
- To our attorneys, to the extent necessary and within the framework of the duty of confidentiality, in order to follow up legal proceedings
- To audit firms, within the scope of the audit process
e) Your Rights under Article 11 of KVKK
We inform you that, as a data subject, you have the following rights under Article 11 of the Law:
- To learn whether your personal data is being processed
- To request information if your personal data has been processed
- To learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose
- To know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred, domestically or abroad
- To request correction of your personal data if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately
- To request deletion or destruction of your personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in the relevant legislation
- To request that corrections, deletions and destruction carried out be notified to the third parties with whom your data has been shared
- To object to the occurrence of a result against you through the analysis of your processed data exclusively by automated systems
- To request compensation for damages if you suffer harm due to unlawful processing
You may submit your requests regarding these rights under Article 11 of KVKK by filling in all the information specified in the Data Subject Application Form, in accordance with Article 11 and Article 13(1) of KVKK and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, through any of the following:
- In person, at our Company at Atakent Mh. Ezel Sk. No: 6/1 Ümraniye / İstanbul
- In writing, through a notary or by registered mail with return receipt, so that your identity can be verified
- By sending an e-mail to info@mare.com.tr using a secure electronic signature, mobile signature or your e-mail address registered in our systems
or through other methods to be determined by the Board in the future.
In addition to the rights set out in Article 11 of KVKK, if you have given explicit consent to the processing of your personal data, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time.
f) Changes and Updates
This privacy notice has been prepared within the scope of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data and other relevant legislation. Necessary changes may be made to this notice in line with changes in the relevant legislation and/or in the Company’s personal data processing purposes and policies.

As Mare Endüstriyel Cihazlar Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi, acting as the data controller, we will process the personal data we collect through the contact form on our website for the following purposes: collecting and evaluating complaints and suggestions, if any, to improve the quality of our services and carrying out communication activities accordingly, and responding to requests for information about our products and services. This processing relies on the legal grounds in Article 5(2)(f) of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, “data processing is mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject”, and in Article 5(2)(e), “data processing is mandatory for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right”.
Your personal data in the categories of identity, contact and professional experience will be processed on the basis of your explicit consent for the following purposes: conducting surveys to measure customer satisfaction; planning and executing the marketing processes of products and services; conducting profiling and analysis activities; recommending and promoting the products and services offered to you, tailored to your preferences, usage habits and needs; sending commercial electronic messages such as advertisements and promotions to the contact details you have shared within the scope of your consent; and sharing such data with our suppliers and international business partners for the purpose of sending these messages.

The processing of the personal data you share with us through our contact form or other channels for marketing, profiling and commercial electronic message purposes is carried out only with your explicit consent to the matters below.
