Founded by the Steiner family in 1881 and part of the Axyntis group since 2007, Steiner is one of Europe's leading manufacturers, carrying out every stage of dye synthesis, formulation and production in-house at its Saint-Marcel facility in Normandy, France.

The product range developed for the production of packaging paper and board, tissue, office/printing paper and specialty papers consists of the CELLUSOL® (liquid direct anionic dyes), DIRECT (powder direct anionic dyes) and STENACOLOR / VISCOLOR (aqueous pigment dispersions) families.
